While Phish is absolutely destroying the American Southeast right now with two back to back awesome shows that saw 2nd sets perfectly bookened by the best jams and energy of this tour, there's also this great video footage that was recently posted from their high energetic performance in LA at the Forum.
At this show famed deadhead and basketball player, Bill Walton, was in attendance. While it wasn't his first Phish show, it was after the Dead 50 shows where even Bill was blown away by Trey's performance so he felt compelled of course to give Trey's own band another shot. He not only liked it but wants to go out on tour after this throwdown performance.
@phish @treyanastasio @mike_gordon Can we do that again?!!! Where's the next show? Please put San Diego & Vegas on your schedule.

While the second set wasn't filled with any 20+ minute jams, like the last two in Atlanta, what is lacked in long jams it made up for in the overall energy. And these videos do a great job capturing said energy. If you are someone who has never seen Phish live, these shots are about as good as you are going to get to understanding what it's like. However, keep in mind this is like 1/10th of what it's actually like so if you are feeling the energy through this ditigal footage, try and imagine it 10x that feeling and you may get close to what it's like.
Also in attendance was Regina Spector who also seemed to dig the energy and show.
